According to Tribals this a spring time (Falgun) festival. In Kinnaur this is connected with Basant Panchami.Faguli Festival is the celebration of the win of the God over Evil. On the day of festival people get up early in the morning and clean up their homes and greet the rain Gods, chanting their name. After cleaning the home every person shoots a dart at the picture of Ravana.People believed that if the arrow strikes the wall of the house it is considered as the mark of the God’s victory over the evil spirit.In this day people does not use the conch shells.On the day of Faguli the family members bring a special kind of wood called Suskar Horing at the early morning.In the evening local people burn this wood inside the caves.At the same time the barley is baked inside the fire.

After the completion of the ceremony people return to the village, marching. In front of the line there is a person with Huri, after that comes Lankawalla and then comes Kittewalla with a Doo. Doo is seized and offered to the pet animals after completing the three rounds of the village temple.
